Meet Makenna Carter

At Candid Color Systems, we’re all about creativity, teamwork, and a little bit of fun along the way. We have built a team here that truly feels like family. We are excited to introduce you to one of the shining stars behind our composites, Makenna Carter!

Makenna has been part of the CCS family for almost three years, working her magic as a Composite Marketing Specialist. She’s the person who helps turn all those class and group photos into polished keepsakes that families will treasure for years. We love having her in the office, Makenna is always willing to help others, give feedback on work and has a heart of gold!

Creativity in Action

Day to day, Makenna makes sure every composite is crafted with care and precision. Whether she’s tweaking layouts or ensuring the final product is picture-perfect, her creativity and attention to detail shine through. From sorority & fraternity composite boards, to school pictures, each one meets the needs of the organization. Makenna truly keeps every customer in mind when crafting composites, and we are so thankful to have her skills!

If you ask her to describe herself in three words, she’ll tell you she’s compassionate, creative, and adaptable and we couldn’t agree more. She’s the teammate who always has a fresh idea and a can-do attitude, making her a true go-to person for projects big and small.

OKC Adventures and Taylor Swift Soundtracks

When Makenna’s not busy creating masterpieces at work, you can probably find her out and about in Oklahoma City or Norman, trying out new restaurants or cheering on the OKC Thunder. Basketball, good food, and a little adventure? That’s her kind of perfect weekend.

And at the office? Her work playlist is all Taylor Swift, all day. Makenna says anything by Taylor Swift keeps her motivated, so we’re guessing there’s a lot of “You Belong with Me” energy fueling those beautiful composites.

Fun Facts You Probably Didn’t Know

Makenna has a few hidden talents up her sleeve. For one, she took Cherokee language classes in college. Though she jokes she’s about as fluent as a three-year-old.

And here’s another cool tidbit: she saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway before it closed, a bucket-list experience she’ll never forget.

When she’s ready to unwind, you’ll usually find her curled up with a good book. Right now, she’s reading The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston. She’s always ready to recommend a great read if you’re looking for your next favorite.
