Art Intern

Duties for this position include writing and editing articles for company newsletters, blogs and trade magazines, interviewing customers and staff for material, some management of social media entities, creation of how-to guides and website updates.

Commercial Photography and Video Intern

Typical duties for this position include the need to organize and conduct model shoots to create an array of sample photos, organize and conduct photo shoots for products, organize and edit images, create webinar and you tube content using sample poses and photos, write or narrate how-to videos and articles related to photography. This position may also be asked to do some video work related to model shoots and training videos.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of photography including lighting
• Please provide sample images
• Excel proficiency
• Photoshop skills a plus- or will need to learn basics
• Knowledge of some basic video editing software or willingness to learn
• Photography equipment will be provided (we typically use Nikon equipment)

Primary Responsibilities:
Consistently capture high quality photographs of students, graduates and staff members. Organize materials to ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available resulting in a smooth process. Work closely with staff to establish set-up area, class flow, and effectively resolve any issues. Assemble equipment at each site. Maintain equipment in a safe manner and according to company guidelines. Accurately complete and return all required materials within assigned timelines. Follow all company polices and represent Candid Color in a professional manner at all times. Use safe work habits, including proper lifting and safe driving. Maintain confidentiality of school and student related information.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision with a team. Willing to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings or evenings. Accessibility to reliable insured transportation to reach assigned locations. Vehicle insurance must be current and in compliance with state law. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to learn to operate camera equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for short periods.
